If you are considering finding a way to get involved with Good Grief\, whether as a volunteer\, donor\, or advocate in the community a tour of our center is the best way to find out more\, ask questions\, meet staff\, and become a part of our community. Our facilitators listen without judgment or criticism and offer hope by building an understanding community. \nThe comprehensive training is an engaging experience which develops skills\, reframes ideas about death and bereavement\, explores the complexity of the grieving process and variables that impact grief\, and provides a personally transformative experience.

SUMMARY:Grief Expressions Summer Day Camp
DESCRIPTION:CLICK HERE TO REGISTER \nCLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD THE CAMP FLYER \nFor children who have experienced the death of an important person in their life. \nIn partnership with professional artists\, instructors\, and coaches\, campers will explore and express their feelings\, develop skills to articulate their grief narrative\, and build their identity. This 4-day camp will provide kids with the opportunity to engage in various art expression workshops. Camp will conclude with a performance and arts exhibit for family and friends. \n9:00am- 4:00pm \nCampers: 1-6th grade \nVolunteer Counselors: 7-12th \n$75 for non-participants of Good Grief (scholarships available) \n\n\n\n\nABOUT GOOD GRIEF: Good Grief’s mission is to provide unlimited and free support to children\, teens\, young adults\, and families after the death of a mother\, father\, sister\, or brother through our peer support programs\, education\, and advocacy.
