DESCRIPTION:The 5K Run & Walk is our opportunity to join together as individuals\, families\, and as a community to walk or run in memory of a loved one or someone significant in our lives. \nOur event will be held at the beautiful Giralda Farms campus in Madison\, NJ. For those who cannot be present\, you can join us as a virtual participant so no one has to miss the opportunity to participate and support grieving children. A live stream broadcast from the event will create a sense of connectedness and community that is much beloved by participants in our annual day of remembrance. \nIn the weeks leading up to the 5K Run & Walk\, we will engage you in activities\, challenges\, messages of inspiration\, and creative ways to involve your family and friends. Whether you participate individually\, as part of a team\, or virtually\, you will be part of an amazing community of supporters coming together to raise awareness and funds for grieving families. \nJoin us as we run and walk in memory of those we have lost.

DESCRIPTION:This one hour workshop will focus on preparing your grieving student for college. Often\, when we think about going to college\, we make sure the school has the right majors\, social activities and the right distance from home. However\, we don’t often give enough thought to the emotional fit of a school\, and for a grieving student this may be equally important. Colleges are inundated with students with mental health challenges\, so making sure you will get the support you need is critical. This workshop will help to prepare your students for the emotional challenges ahead by providing strategies to set them up for success.
