Danielle Adest Joins Good Grief Board of Directors
Morristown, New Jersey—Good Grief, a leading voice for grieving children and families, today announced that it has appointed Danielle Adest to its Board of Directors.
Adest currently serves as Chief Financial Officer of Planned Parenthood of Northern, Central and Southern New Jersey. Prior to that, she served as Vice President and Controller at Sesame Workshop, the nonprofit responsible for production of children’s educational programs including Sesame Street.
“We are very pleased to welcome Danielle to the Good Grief board,” said Good Grief CEO, Joe Primo. “Danielle brings valuable experience to our board from her background as an accountant, auditor and executive in non-profit organizations and we look forward to the insights and contributions she will make to our work serving grieving children and families.”
“I have seen firsthand how Good Grief’s work has equipped my stepchildren with tools to build their resilience in the face of terrible loss in their lives,” said Adest. “Seeing their growth in confronting their own grief has inspired me to step forward and get involved personally to help others in the community navigating grief and loss.”
Adest is a certified public accountant and holds a B.S. from the Rutgers University Business School. She resides in Essex County, NJ with her partner and their four children.
