Children’s Grief Awareness Day

November 14 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Presenters: Evelynn Moon and Annette Mendez

Children’s Grief Awareness Day is observed every year on the third Thursday in November (the Thursday before the U.S. holiday of Thanksgiving).

The purpose of Children’s Grief Awareness Day is to raise awareness of the needs of grieving children and the advantages of receiving support from others. On Children’s Grief Awareness Day, we have the chance to ensure that these children get the help they require.

In this webinar, we will bring attention to all the ways we can make a difference in the lives of grieving children.

In this session, participants will:

  • Have an opportunity to understand and process the multifaceted impact that death has on the academic and social aspects of a child’s life.
  • Explore ways to honor Children’s Grief Awareness Day in your school community.
  • Walk through lessons you can utilize for Elementary and High School students that can help you bring CGAD to your school community.

All registrants will receive a link to the recorded webinar, as well as, free CGAD lessons, materials, and PowerPoints. All live attendees will receive a certificate of attendance.
