Good Grief invites you to register for our upcoming Understanding Grief & Loss series workshop. These professional development workshops are designed specifically for individuals working in settings with grieving children and adolescents such as teachers, counselors, social workers, nurses, and more.
This workshop will explore the ways that death and grief are discomforting and uncomfortable to engage both professionally and personally. As a direct result, isolation and loneliness are common experiences for those who are grieving a loss. What are strategies to confront the “elephant in the room” and reduce the isolation grievers often feel? How can we learn to be more comfortable, open, and honest in conversations about death and loss with children and adults? What are helpful ways to support all those who are grieving?
