(Morristown, NJ) – Good Grief is pleased to announce their sixth annual Great Pumpkin Ball, “Forks, Corks, and Cocktails”, which will take place on Friday, October 21st at 7 PM at Canoe Brook Country Club in Summit, NJ. The annual gala raises much needed funds for the organization’s mission of providing free and unlimited support to children and families following the death of a mother, father, sister, or brother. Good Grief has served over 550 children and families in 180+ communities in the state of New Jersey through its locations in Princeton and Morristown, NJ.

This year’s Great Pumpkin Ball is adding a fun and meaningful twist! “Forks, Corks, and Cocktails” will be a fun and festive evening of culinary and cocktail pairings. Guests can wine and dine the night away while lending their support to Good Grief’s mission. In addition to the fun, new format, guests can still expect favorite features such as music, the silent auction, and guest appearances by Good Grief kids.

“We’re grateful to the people and the businesses helping us to achieve this goal,” said Joseph Primo, Good Grief’s CEO. “Our Great Pumpkin Ball sponsors include Celgene, Private Advisor Group, Atlantic Health System, Bayer Healthcare, JBK Associates, AmeriHealth and Terabyte Consulting. Our deepest gratitude goes out to all of our sponsors and supporters.”

It is not too late for the community to get involved. “Every little bit of support allows us to continue to offer our free programming to grieving children and families,” says Courtney Hodock, Good Grief’s Director of Development. “Companies and individuals can get involved and make a difference through sponsorship opportunities, by taking out an ad in our ad journal, by donating items to our silent auction, by making a gift to Good Grief, or by volunteering to help out for the evening. And of course, we invite everyone to join us as a guest that evening! It promises to be a meaningful and memorable experience.”
