Limited Spots Available For the Good Grief Golf Outing on May 8th

Limited spots are still left for golfers and Good Grief supporters willing to take their best swing on the course as the annual Good Grief Golf ‘Fore’ the Kids Outing presented by Private Advisor Group is set for Monday, May 8 at Jasna Polna in Princeton, NJ.
“Going to Good Grief has really turned things around for us as a family. The Golf Outing is an opportunity to give back since Good Grief is free for as long as we attend,” says Lisa Wren, Good Grief participant who enjoys the opportunity to network while enjoy a round of golf. “I plan to bring clients again this year to help spread the word about this important mission in our community,” says Wren an attorney at Clark Hill PLC.
“1 in 7 children will lose a parent or sibling before the age of 20 and Good Grief is here in Princeton to help families like Lisa’s,” say Joe Primo, CEO. “Good Grief works to raise awareness and advocate for grieving children and families to ensure that no child ever has to grieve alone. With the attention we receive from our annual golf outing, we’re getting our message out across the community that we are here for grieving families when they need us most.”
Good Grief’s Golf ‘Fore’ the Kids outing begins with registration at 10:00 a.m. Shotgun start is at 12:00 p.m. with an on-course box lunch. Following the 18 holes of golf, there will be a cocktails and dinner in the picturesque circular-shaped Travertine Room, which overlooks the 18th fairway and offers panoramic views of the estate. Raffle tickets will be available for purchase throughout the day and there will be on course contests including “Closest to the Pin” and “Longest Drive.” Mulligans will be sold prior to the shotgun start! During dinner there will be a short program emceed by Good Grief participants, as well as a silent auction with prizes including a unique Yankee Stadium lunch, tour and game experience, as well as donated items from our sponsors. The cost is $450 per golfer for this year’s event. There is a dinner only option of $150 per person, which will also include the opportunity to take part in the silent auction and win raffle prizes.
