A Night of Impact: 2025 Good Grief Gala Celebrates Advocates, Honors Service, and Advances Our Mission
Our annual Gala is a meaningful celebration of the individuals who have made a lasting impact on Good Grief and the families we serve. This year, we were proud to honor award-winning writer, speaker, and grief support advocate Kelly Cervantes with the Community Advocate Award. Kelly’s personal journey and tireless advocacy have made her a powerful voice and a beacon of hope and resilience for those navigating grief.
We also recognized Branning Collison with the Corporate Hero Award for their dedication to our mission over the past five years. As a company committed to making a difference, Branning Collison has played a vital role in sustaining our programs and expanding our reach. Their ongoing generosity helps ensure that grieving children and families continue to receive the care and support that they deserve.
Good Grief would not be what it is today without our extraordinary facilitators — truly the backbone of our organization. At the 2025 Gala, we were thrilled to honor seven devoted and inspiring individuals who have each dedicated 10 to 15 years of service to our organization — Helena Lynch, Caroline Smith, Alise Alden, Jen Brunnock, Kim Fields-Murphy, Sharon Knightly and Laurie Kolano. Their compassion, commitment, and unwavering support have made a profound and lasting difference in the lives of grieving children and families. We are deeply grateful for all they have done and continue to do for Good Grief.
Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, the event helped advance our mission and raised nearly $300,000 to support our programs.
