Good Grief Annual Gala Goes Virtual on October 15
Fundraising Event Benefits Bereaved Children and Families
New Jersey-based nonprofit Good Grief is pulling out all the stops for its 10th annual gala on October 15. The organization has assembled a roster of notable honorees and sports celebrities for a special one-hour virtual fundraising event to support Good Grief’s work to deliver needed programs for grieving children and families.
“In a year that has changed life as we know it for everyone, our programs that support children and families confronting uncertainty, isolation, grief and adversity have never been more important,” said Joe Primo, CEO of Good Grief. “Our gala is a critical source of funding that allows us to continue our vital work in the communities we serve.”
The program for the gala will feature Good Grief kids sharing their stories of hope and resilience as well as special appearances by sports stars Dalvin Tomlinson of the NY Giants and former New York Yankee all-star Bernie Williams. The evening will also include a tribute to medical professionals who have served on the front lines saving lives and caring for patients throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.
Individual tickets for the event are $150 and provide viewers with a link to the virtual broadcast to enjoy from the comfort of home or anywhere with an internet connection.
