Good Grief to Honor Michael Sharp with Community Hero Award at Annual Gala

Fundraiser will celebrate Superheroes for their Contributions to Good Grief

Morristown, New Jersey—Good Grief announced today that it will honor Mike Sharp with the nonprofit organization’s Community Hero Award as its annual gala on October 14, 2021, at the Park Savoy in Florham Park, NJ.

Sharp is the founder & chairman of The Sharp Financial Group, an integrated financial management firm, and a generous supporter of Good Grief.

“We are honored to present this award to Mike Sharp in recognition of his longtime community volunteer service and his commitment to coaching, mentoring and serving as a positive role model to young people,” said Joe Primo, Good Grief CEO. “Through his work with youth of all backgrounds and circumstances, Mike understands the value of Good Grief’s work creating a safe and caring environment to help kids overcome adversity and build resilience in their lives.”

The theme of this year’s gala is “A Superhero Celebration” and the evening’s program will feature tributes to all Good Grief’s heroes including donors, sponsors, volunteers, and the children of Good Grief who will be sharing their personal stories of hope and resilience during the evening.

Individual tickets for the event are $250 and a table is $2,500. Full information is available at the event website [link]. All proceeds from the gala support Good Grief’s mission to provide free and unlimited support to help grieving children and families in more than 180 communities across New Jersey.
